Status review of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban Mission

 

As a project advisor, Energe-se led the conceptual research framework and development of recommendations for the study. This study maps the PMAY-Urban mission targets across its four sub-components and state-level data, to assess housing types and energy impact (embodied and operational) of housing design and construction. The study was one of the first studies towards highlighting pathway consequences of affordable housing construction under the PMAY-Urban mission. It provides recommendations to mainstream thermal comfort and resource efficiency across the four sub-components of the mission.
